Townhall.com Starts Their Own Talk Radio Broadcasts

Townhall decides to follow in Wide Awakes Radio's foot steps. It doesn't take other people long to piggy back a good idea. Not saying Townhall copied off of Wide Awakes Radio, however their launch date (July 4th) was the same day Wide Awakes Radio launched. Extending the reach of talk radio into the viral realm of the Internet and blogosphere, the relaunched Townhall.com brings together conservative talk hosts and their audiences with the goal to promote grassroots political activism. Tagged with the claim “Where Your Opinion Counts,” the Web site has a reported 1.4 million online visitors per month and now offers podcasts and opinion columns from radio hosts like Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Bill Bennett, Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt. Each talk radio host has a personal, customized page that aims to inform listeners, while providing Web-based “activism tools” that enables them to create their own blogs and e-newsletters. Still, I'm sure no one will be doing a show like mine over at Townhall. Hell I might not even be doing a show like mine after the first episode.
